Submission to the Florida Scientist is straight-forward. Simply email the editor (fl.sci.editor@gmail.com) with files attached (cover letter, manuscript, figure files).

First, carefully read the instructions to authors. Incomplete or incorrectly formatted submissions will delay solicitation of peer-reviewers.

Before submitting, answer the following:

  • Is my (corresponding author) membership current before I submit? If not, am I willing to pay full page charges?

  • Did I follow the formatting instructions?

  • Are my figures formatted according to the minimum requirements?

  • Does my cover letter include confirmation that all coauthors have previewed and approved the submission?

Failure to meet these minimum requirements will result in a return of your manuscript following pre-review.
