SUBSCRIPTION TO FLORIDA SCIENTIST

Florida Scientist and its former titles (Proceedings of the Florida Academy of Sciences, Quarterly Journal of the Florida Academy of Sciences) were published in print since 1936. As of Volume 88 (2025), the journal is now offered only in digital format on the Ingenta Connect platform at https://www.ingentaconnect.com/content/fac/fs.

Libraries that subscribe through EBSCO or other subscription agencies and are already registered with Ingenta Connect may access Florida Scientist once they have subscribed via the subscription agency.

Libraries that subscribe directly through the Academy must register (free) at Ingenta Connect before the Academy provides access. Registration may be accomplished at
https://www.ingentaconnect.com/register/institutional?redirect=&url=%2f%3flogoHome%3dtrue
for institutions. Access will be granted once the Academy receives payment for the subscription.

The library subscription rate is $80 per calendar year. A subscription provides access to all historical online content at Ingenta Connect; but remember that online content only began in 2025 with Volume 88. Historical content is not owned if a subscription lapses, but a later re-subscription allows access to all historical and current content of the journal on Ingenta Connect.

Earlier scanned print content of Florida Scientist and its former titles is available on the following platforms:

Biodiversity Heritage Library (free): full text from 1936, Volume 1, to 2005,Volume 68
